NeighborShine is a San Antonio, Texas booking service, owned and operated by Earvin Monje, that connects customers with independent local home cleaning and mobile car detailing professionals. Information we collect
We only collect what you choose to send us through our forms. You do not need an account, and we do not collect payment information on this website. Payment details are handled when your booking is confirmed. If we use a payment processor in the future, we will name it in this policy.
- Service requests: your name, email, phone number, ZIP code, the service you want, home or vehicle details (such as bedrooms, bathrooms, vehicle size, and add-ons), your preferred date and time window, special instructions, and the sample estimate shown to you. We ask for your ZIP code, not your street address, at this stage.
- Provider applications: your name and contact details, business information, services and experience, service areas and travel radius, availability, minimum job payout, insurance status you choose to share, and an optional portfolio link.
- Business partnership inquiries: your name, business name and type, contact details, and your message.
- Calls, texts, and emails you send us.
Please do not send Social Security numbers, ID photos, bank or card numbers, or other sensitive documents through our forms.
How we use your information
We use your information to review and respond to your request, check availability with local professionals, confirm pricing and appointment details, follow up with you, review provider applications, discuss business partnerships, improve our service, and keep basic business records. Submitting a request does not create a confirmed booking.
Calls and text messages
By submitting a form with your phone number and checking the consent box, you agree that NeighborShine may call or text you at that number about your request, application, or inquiry, including follow-up and scheduling messages. These are not marketing messages. Message frequency varies, and message and data rates may apply. You can opt out of texts at any time by replying STOP, or by asking us to stop. Our calls and follow-up texts are sent by hand from our Google Voice number, (726) 220-5083, so Google processes these calls and messages as our phone service provider. Consent is not a condition of purchasing any service.
When we share information
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for advertising.
- With the matched professional: when we coordinate your request, we share only the details that independent professional needs to quote and perform that job, such as your name, contact details, service details, and location information.
- With service providers that help us operate: we use Google Voice for calls and texts. our site is hosted by Netlify, and form submissions are processed and stored through Netlify Forms. Our pages load fonts from Google Fonts, which means your browser connects to Google's servers.
- When required: if needed to comply with law, respond to legal process, or protect the safety, rights, or property of our customers, professionals, or NeighborShine.
Cookies and analytics
We do not use advertising cookies or third-party analytics on this website. Our hosting provider may keep standard server logs, such as IP address and browser type, for security and reliability.
How long we keep information
We keep information only as long as reasonably needed to handle your request, run our business, and meet legal, tax, or safety obligations. Requests and applications that do not move forward are deleted periodically. You can ask us to delete your information sooner.
How we protect information
Form submissions are read only by NeighborShine's owner, Earvin Monje, through the hosting account that runs this site. We use reasonable safeguards, but no website or method of transmission is completely secure.
Children
Our services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Your choices and requests
You can ask to see, correct, or delete the personal information you have given us, or ask us to stop contacting you. Email neighborshine@gmail.com or call or text (726) 220-5083. We will respond within a reasonable time and may need to confirm your identity first.
Changes to this policy
