Agreement to these terms
These Terms of Service apply to your use of bookneighborshine.com and the booking coordination services offered by NeighborShine, a San Antonio, Texas business owned and operated by Earvin Monje ("NeighborShine," "we," or "us"). By using the website or submitting a request, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
What NeighborShine does
NeighborShine is a booking and coordination service that connects customers with independent local professionals for home cleaning and mobile car detailing in the San Antonio area. We do not perform cleaning or detailing services ourselves. NeighborShine is currently in a founding pilot, so services, service areas, and processes may change as we grow.
Requests, estimates, and booking confirmation
Submitting a form is a request, not a confirmed booking. It does not guarantee that a professional is available or obligate you to buy anything.
Prices shown on the website are sample estimates for illustration only. Your final price depends on the actual size, condition, and scope of the job and will be confirmed with you before any appointment is booked.
A booking is confirmed only when we confirm the professional, date, time window, scope, and final price with you directly by phone, text, or email, and you agree to them.
Pricing and payment
You pay NeighborShine for confirmed services, and NeighborShine pays the independent professional who performs the work. We do not take payment on this website. The payment amount, method, and timing are confirmed with you when your booking is confirmed.
NeighborShine keeps a portion of each payment as its fee for coordinating the service. There is no separate customer fee on top of your confirmed price unless we tell you about it before you agree to the booking.
Changes and cancellations
Plans change. If you need to reschedule or cancel, please contact us as soon as possible, and give reasonable notice before your appointment. Any cancellation or rescheduling terms that apply to a specific job will be shared with you when that booking is confirmed.
Independent professionals
Professionals who perform services are independent businesses or contractors, not employees or agents of NeighborShine. They control how they perform their work and are responsible for their own work, tools, supplies, and compliance with applicable laws. NeighborShine reviews professionals who apply to join the network, but we do not guarantee any professional's work, and nothing on this website means a professional has been background-checked, licensed, bonded, or insured unless we tell you that specifically for your booking.
If something isn't right
If you have a concern about a service, contact us within 48 hours of the service at neighborshine@gmail.com or call or text (726) 220-5083. We will review the issue and work with you and the professional in good faith to look for a fair resolution. Any specific remedy is decided case by case.
Your responsibilities
Please give accurate information, use the site only for genuine requests, provide safe and reasonable access to your home or vehicle for confirmed appointments, secure valuables, and let us know about pets, hazards, or special conditions in advance. Do not use the site to send abusive, unlawful, or misleading content, attempt to disrupt the site, or misuse other people's information.
Disclaimers
The website and our coordination services are provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent allowed by law, NeighborShine disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not promise the site will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that a professional will be available for every request.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, NeighborShine and its owner will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for the acts, omissions, or services of independent professionals. Our total liability for any claim relating to the website or our services is limited to the amount of any fee NeighborShine actually received in connection with the booking that gave rise to the claim. Some laws do not allow certain limitations, so these may not apply to you in full.
Governing law and venue
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute relating to these terms or our services will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Bexar County, Texas, and you agree to the jurisdiction of those courts.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date. Continuing to use the site after changes means you accept the updated terms. Terms agreed for a confirmed booking still apply to that booking.
